Actually, Hi-Standard was my first experience
of knowing Japanese singer sings in English. I was a Junior high school student. My friend and me heard about the band. It was fresh feeling for me.
Second is "Radwimps". They sings something impressive, but sometimes it's radical.
I heard that one of their message is avoiding of suiside. Suisider is disappered 30,000 times in a year.
I don't know why, but probably that is the reason. Almost all of their songs is about Love. Sometimes it is about the society.
Third is "One Ok Rock". All of their lyrics are not English, but it's almost.I really like it.
They are so powerful my feeling consists,
How do you imagine about Japanese subculture??
A person I saw in Singapore, he said, Japanese gov. make a words "Cool Japan",
but in fact, this is "Otaku Japan". I think Japanese don't know what is cool for others.
For example, a place have been established since 200years ago or more, mixture of histrical and modern, such a otaku culture, and so on.
Actually, I think it's depend on the person, so I write this as a once more aspect of Japan.
I'm happy they can sings all over the world even if all is not English.
I think they could beyond the border.How do you think about??
